VISTA-IBC Codebase: Supporting Cardano-Cosmos Interoperability This proposal seeks to leverage the recent integration of the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC) by Cosmos, which enhances connectivity across various blockchain networks, including those of Cosmos and Ethereum. Our proposal focuses on developing and operating a robust IBC codebase that will serve as a critical infrastructure layer for seamless interactions between Cardano and other blockchain ecosystems. By doing so, it aims to position Cardano as a key player in the broader interchain landscape, facilitating more dynamic and versatile blockchain applications.

2. Vista into the Cosmosverse Our second proposal, "Vista into the Cosmosverse," explores the potential for community engagement and cultural exchange between the ecosystems of Cardano and Cosmos. This proposal seeks to build a more connected and culturally rich community across blockchain environments, leveraging the new capabilities provided by the IBC integration.

• ICC Vote Concludes: The Interim Constitutional Committee (ICC) elections have recently concluded. This committee is tasked with upholding the interim Constitution and making key decisions on the first on-chain governance actions within the Cardano community. The community has elected representatives who will join foundational members like IOG, EMURGO, and the Cardano Foundation, along with member-based organization Intersect, to form this influential body. The elected representatives are pivotal in shaping the governance and future direction of the Cardano ecosystem.
• Cardano Integrates IBC: The integration of the IBC by Cardano is a critical development that enhances our connectivity with other blockchain networks and propels us into the interchain ecosystem. This move underpins our proposals in Catalyst Fund 12, aiming to further interoperability and community cohesion.
• Partner Chains and Layer 2s: The dialogue regarding partner chains and layer 2 solutions is heating up with the launch of Midgard by Anastasia Labs. This new layer 2 solution is part of a broader trend towards developing more robust and scalable blockchain infrastructures, enriching the Cardano ecosystem and offering exciting new opportunities for development and integration.
